Moldovan Lotteries

Loteria Moldovei, a subsidiary of the Intralot Group, has been operating since 1992 and has the rights to operate in Moldova for an initial period of 25 years. It is the sole scratch tickets distributor and the only operator of its three Lotto games. The company was granted a license from the Ministry of Finance of Moldova for the organization and management of fixed-odds betting games, which were launched at the end of 2003.

Loteria Moldovei experienced a 229% increase in sales when it introduced fixed-odds betting and video lottery in 2004. The trend continued through 2005, marking an additional 46% increase in sales from the previous year.
